Follow a listing or founder on the calendar
Track launches, milestones and founder stories from any listing or founder by email and in your account.

Set up following
Every listing page and every founder profile has a Follow button. Press it to track that listing's company or that founder's activity. Following is free and requires only a free account on What Is Launching.
If you are signed in, following happens at once and the button shows Following. If you are not signed in, the button takes you to sign up (or sign in) and then back to confirm.
What you receive
Followers of a listing get notified about:
- New product milestones and status changes (acquisitions, closures)
- Additional products from the same company
- Demo video updates or replacements
- Launch of the Week wins (#1, #2 or #3)
- New launches by that company across the site (capped at one notice daily)
- Founder stories linked to the listing
Followers of a founder receive only their new founder stories.
All updates arrive as notices in your account and by email.
Control your notifications
By default, updates arrive in one daily summary email. Go to /account/notifications to change this to instantly, weekly summary, or off. You can also add Telegram or Slack there.
To stop following, press the Following button on the listing or founder page again. You can also mute emails at /account/notifications without unfollowing.
How following works on What Is Launching
Following does not count as a vote and does not affect a listing's community votes, vote ranking or Product of the Week status. Followers do count towards the most followed list at /launches/most-followed.
Listing owners are notified when someone follows them, but never who it is. Follower counts may appear on listings.

- Do I need to pay to follow someone?
- No. Following is free. You only need a free account on What Is Launching.
- What happens when I stop following?
- Press the Following button on their page again. No more updates are sent about them. You can also turn off emails at /account/notifications and stay following if you prefer.
- Does following help a listing rank higher in the vote rankings?
- No. Following does not change votes, vote rankings or Product of the Week status. It only adds to the most followed list at /launches/most-followed.
